Turner Construction Pays It Forward, Donates $100,000 to Outpatient Medical Center

When Turner Construction won the bid to build the Outpatient Medical Center (OMC), they launched into planning and construction with a clear goal in mind: to build a place that all patients, no matter their socio-economic status, would be proud to go to for care.
“Denver Health is important to us [because] your commitment to the underserved aligns well with our mission and culture of supporting underrepresented, diverse groups,” said Scott Bestos, General Manager of Turner Construction. “Being a shepherd of understanding and empathy to help others aligned well for us.”
The alignment in missions prompted Turner Construction to take their involvement one step further by donating $100,000 to projects and equipment within the Outpatient Medical Center.
The Outpatient Medical Center already stands as a representation of high-quality health care for all community members. The seven-story, 293,000 square foot building is beautifully constructed, with colorful artwork on each floor, private patient rooms, and high-tech equipment that demonstrates Denver Health’s commitment to providing patients with top-notch care. Turner Construction’s generous donation enhances all that the OMC already offers and strengthens Denver Health’s ability to serve.
And already, the OMC is making a substantial impact in our mission to strengthen the root sources of health and well-being. Since its opening in early 2021, the Outpatient Medical Center has provided over 30,000 patient visits, with 12,212 of those occurring in May alone.
