Christopher Mena, B. A. in English from Metropolitan State University of Denver, was born and raised in New York City. After graduating from college he worked as a freelance journalist for The Morning Call, a newspaper affiliated with the Tribune Media Company. He reported on local government affairs, community outreach programs, and special events. After modifying his career, Christopher spent a brief amount of time as an Emergency Medical Technician in New York City. He returned to Colorado and began work at Denver Health approximately six years ago. His career started with the Rocky Mountain Poison and Drug Center, where we provided exposure information to callers in a multi-state environment for the Poison Center. Christopher then transitioned to the Drug Center, where he worked with a major pharmaceutical company and assisted with regulatory reporting and documentation. He provided team leadership, project coordination, and co-worker training. He assisted business development by researching possible avenues of growth, contributed with proposal and presentation editing, and assisted with quality assurance through peer review of submitted reports.
