Candice Jones

Major Gifts Officer

When Candice Jones moved to Denver after teaching English for six months abroad in Thailand, she immediately began utilizing her degree and experience in art history and curatorial studies. She worked as a project manager with Art Management and Planning Associates, curating art exhibits and building corporate collections, while volunteering at the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver. Additionally, Candice’s life wouldn’t be complete without dance. She performed throughout college on both the NCA dance champion Cougarettes and as a soloist on Brigham Young University’s Theatre Ballet, and professionally for both the Denver Broncos cheerleading team and for Odyssey Dance Theatre, which included performances throughout the world.

Candice was a member of the Downtown Denver Leadership program class of 2008. She was actively involved in planning for Denver's 2027 Plan to improve the pedestrian environment throughout downtown. She is an ABC certified event planner, and as the Foundation’s events manager, she is responsible for the oversight of all Foundation events. She started with the Foundation in 2007, and under her leadership, Foundation events have grown from raising $650,000 to $2,500,000 annually.
