Denver Health Paramedics to Run Colfax Marathon 5/18 to Support Infant Car Safety
April 17, 2014
For the fifth consecutive year, Denver Health Paramedics will be running in relay teams during the Colfax Marathon on May 18, 2014 to raise money for infant car safety. Motor vehicle crashes are a leading cause of death for young children, but car seats dramatically increase an infant or child’s likelihood of surviving a crash. Denver Health Paramedics are keenly aware of these facts, and use their participation in the marathon to raise money to purchase car seats for Denver Health babies.
Donations are appreciated! Click below on “Donate Now” to be directed to Denver Health Foundation’s online donation site, where you can specify the name of the runner(s) your gift is in tribute of. Or feel free to call Denver Health Foundation at 303-602-2970 to make a donation by phone.
The cost of a new car seat is $45, but we welcome gifts in any amount. Thank you!
