Brian Schimpf Memorial Scholarship Fund Established at Denver Health Foundation

Brian Schimpf worked most of his street paramedic career at Denver Health, where he also served as an instructor at Denver Health Paramedic School. He received numerous awards, including being named Preceptor of the Year. Brian died in a line-of-duty accident as Captain of Emergency Medical Services for Grand County, Colorado when he was only 33 years old. He was an award-winning professional who leaves a legacy in his teaching skills and mentoring of young paramedics and EMTs.

Friends and family have established a scholarship fund in Brian's name for students attending the Denver Health Paramedic School.
