In 2009, Ron was involved in a terrible motorcycle accident that changed his life. During that time he saw the struggles many patients go through emotionally, physically and financially. That’s when he decided to make a change and become an advocate for anyone in need of exceptional health care through his work at the Denver Health Foundation.
Ron was born and raised in Colorado, where he worked for 15 years at Coors Brewing Company as a stationary engineer in their power plant. His career in health care started at the Colorado Department of Human Services Mental Health Institute at Wheat Ridge Regional Center, first as a psych tech and later as a finance manager. He started at Denver Health in 2011 as a rotating resident medical student coordinator for trauma services and joined the Denver Health Foundation in 2015.
