Lauren’s parents instilled in her the mindset of serving others, which has greatly shaped her education and career path. As a social worker by education, she strongly believes that equitable access to health care is a basic human right and is honored to work for an organization that puts this belief into practice.
Before joining the Denver Health Foundation team, Lauren worked at the Cancer Support Community, where she held various roles on the fundraising team, leading to her most tenured role as the Director of Development Operations. In this position, she led the organization to a historical fundraising year and designed and implemented the individual donor program. In addition to fundraising, Lauren brings over seven years of project management and change management experience to her new role as Manager, Impact Management and looks forward to telling the beautiful story of Denver Health through data.
Lauren earned a bachelor’s degree in social work and a dual master’s degree in social work and public administration from Florida State University. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, exploring Colorado, and being a dog mom to her pup, Stout.
