Birdie has over seven years of healthcare and education management experience combined with more than 10 years of experience in communication, customer service, collaboration, and problem-solving. Before joining Denver Health Foundation in November 2022, she worked at Children’s Hospital Colorado and the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus coordinating medical student, resident, and fellow education, and streamlining processes and business operations. Birdie has held many roles in her career, but her passion is support services, which drew her to Denver Health’s mission and value in caring for all patients.

A Colorado native who grew up in Westminster, Birdie earned a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from the University of Colorado-Denver and a Master of Public Health in health systems, management, and policy from the Colorado School of Public Health. In her spare time, Birdie enjoys watching movies, volunteering for organizational and school events, arts and crafts projects, and spending time with her daughter and family.
