Anthony joined the Denver Health Foundation as special events coordinator in June 2022. He was drawn to this position to support Denver Health’s role as an anchor institution that provides medical care to all without restriction. He is a seasoned events specialist with a vast range of experience that has taken him to a variety of jobs worldwide. His prior experience includes international events such as “The America’s Paradise Triathlon” on St. Croix, U.S.V.I., the PowerMan/PowerWoman Duathlons in Switzerland, the Negril Jamaica Sprint Triathlon, Nice France Triathlon, Mrs. T’s Triathlon in Chicago, the Texas Hill Country Triathlon and World Cup Soccer USA ‘94. Anthony has also worked as a consultant for Motorola’ CART/Indy Car Racing Team and was a regional public relations manager for General Motors R*Works.
Anthony is a Colorado native who grew up in Boulder. He has witnessed the growth of the front range cities, especially Denver, from a “cow town” to the cosmopolitan city it is today. He is a proud graduate of Colorado State University with a bachelor’s degree in technical journalism and a minor in sociology. In his spare time, Anthony enjoys spending time with his wife and three adult children trying new restaurants and brew pubs and attending local cultural events.
