Amber D'Angelo, M.P.S.
Foundation Communications Manager

Amber D’Angelo is the foundation communications manager at Denver Health Foundation. She was drawn to Denver Health’s mission of providing top-notch health care services to every individual, regardless of their ability to pay. Amber manages the Foundation’s internal and external marketing and communication efforts—including storytelling, branding, social media, public relations and more.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Amber was the senior communications manager at the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business, where she was editor-in-chief of an annual magazine for 36,000 alumni and donors and executive producer of the Daniels Voices of Experience podcast. Previously, Amber was the owner at Calliope Communications—a mission-driven freelance writing and editing business; brand strategy and communications director at dfine Branding—a Denver-based brand and creative agency; and marketing coordinator at Holland & Hart law firm. She started her career as a communications associate for the Kempe Foundation at Children’s Hospital Colorado.

Amber has a bachelor’s degree in journalism studies with minors in Italian and international health, human rights and gender studies, and a master’s degree in organizational and professional communication, marketing and public relations—both from the University of Denver. She enjoys writing, yoga, mindfulness, skiing, baking, traveling and keeping up with her two young children.
