Haroun has held many leadership positions in real estate and finance, but considers his greatest passion his work as an associate pastor at Church in the City – Beth Abraham. Outside of ministry, Haroun is the chief real estate officer at The Flyfisher Group and works as a real estate broker at NAI Shames Makovsky.

Haroun began his career as a mortgage broker before moving into financial services at Merrill Lynch. He moved on to WAA Consulting, where he raised capital for startups, before transitioning to a financial advisor for high net worth individuals and family offices at Waddell & Reed. Haroun also managed two branches for a national commercial bank, developing one into the top performing branch in the country.

Haroun lends his time to two mayoral appointments, the Denver Board of Human Service and the Advisory Committee for Housing People Experiencing Homelessness. He is a member of the Denver District Attorney Advisory Council and also Denver African American Philanthropists. He serves as the board chair for Impact Empowerment Group and sits on the board of Colorado Enterprise Fund and 5280 High School.
