Denver Health serves Denver’s most vulnerable.  We deliver high-quality care for those in need.  Though we provide more than $246,400,000 annually in uncompensated care to patients, who can't pay for their treatment, even this amount is insufficient to meet the specific needs of some. The Patient Assistance Fund acts as a safety net for these difficult situations, providing support to help individuals manage their health and return to their normal daily lives.

The Patient Assistance Fund relies entirely on gifts and grants to support its work.  The more we receive from generous donors, the more people we are able to help access what they need for a healthy, active life.  Sometimes a healthy, active life is maintained with critical and basic items like eyeglasses, prescription medication and co-pays for needed medical appointments.
