Database Assistant


Mary Colling has always been drawn to organizations that help people. For 30 years, she worked for telecommunications giant Qwest Communications (now CenturyLink) in both data entry and customer service. Mary was a data entry specialist and management support in Qwest’s fast-paced call center of about 300 employees before she retired in 2008. A health issue in her family helped Mary realize the importance of high-quality health care and the ability to access it. Not long afterwards, Mary heard of the Foundation’s need for a database manager’s clerical assistant — a perfect fit for her skills and her heart. Today, her detail-oriented focus is put to great use as the Foundation’s database assistant.
