Walt DeHaven

Walt DeHaven is vice president and general manager of CBS4, KCNC-TV–Denver. Before joining CBS4 in August 2002, Walt served as general manager at WBBM-TV in Chicago from 2000 to 2002, at WSBK-TV in Boston and WLWC-TV in Providence, Rhode Island from 1998 to 2000, and at WPSG-TV in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, KTXA-TV/Dallas and KRRT-TV/ San Antonio. He began his television career on the advertising sales side in the 1980s at WPMT-TV in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Walt is very active in the community, offering his time and guidance to many local nonprofit organizations. He has served on local boards of directors, including Mile High United Way (six years), the Women’s Foundation (six years), Visit Denver (six years), the American Heart Association (five years) and the Alzheimer’s Association (five years.) Currently, he sits on the board of directors of the Denver Health Foundation, the American Transplant Association and the Colorado Symphony Orchestra.
