2017 promises to be an exciting year for Denver Health Foundation with the 2017 NightShine Gala. This year, the event, to be held on May 13 at the Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center, will be chaired by Steve Farber, David McReynolds and Dan Scherer, and the Foundation will be honoring legendary promoter Chuck Morris.

Steve Farber is the president and founding partner of Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck. His practice is well-known in the Denver community and encompasses corporate and partnership business transactions, public and private business transactions, acquisitions and mergers, real estate, business and contract transactions. 

David McReynolds is the founder and president of Columbine Health Plan, a specialty health plan that provides chiropractic, acupuncture and massage therapy services to over 500,000 Colorado members.  David has served as the board chair for the Denver Health Foundation.  


Dan Scherer is the General Manager for OUTFRONT Media, overseeing the Colorado, Utah, and Nevada outdoor advertising markets. He has more than 15 years of leadership experience in the outdoor advertising industry.

All three chairs and honoree have served or do currently serve as board members of the Denver Health Foundation. 

Legendary rock promoter Chuck Morris who has promoted concerts for over 49 years in Colorado and has been responsible building legendary rock clubs Tulagi, Ebbets Field, Rainbow Music Hall and Fillmore Auditorium.  Chuck was Senior Vice-President of Feyline Presents for over a decade and in 1997 started Chuck Morris Presents/Bill Graham Presents which later became Live Nation where he served as President and CEO of the Rocky Mountain region.  In 2007, Chuck joined AEG Live and is now President/CEO of the Rocky Mountain region and Pacific Northwest region.

AEG Live Rocky Mountains does over 100 shows at Red Rocks, has rebuilt and restored Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre, books and controls the Bluebird Theater, Ogden Theatre, Gothic Theatre as well at 1STBANK Center and does over 800 show a year in Colorado.

Chuck has had a long career as well managing bands Big Head Todd and the Monsters, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Leo Kottke, Highway 101 and Leftover Salmon among others.

In true form, the NightShine Gala will feature an incredible performer – Kenny Loggins! Kenny Loggins' remarkable four-decade-plus career has brought him from the top of the charts to the toast of the Grammys. He's had smash hits on Hollywood's favorite soundtracks, rocked worldwide stages, and found his way into children's hearts while bringing his soulful, beautiful voice to platinum albums of a stunning variety of genres.

All proceeds from the 2017 NightShine Gala will be directed towards Denver Health’s Paramedic Division, the sole provider of emergency medical services for the City and County of Denver.
