The Denver Health Foundation hosts many events throughout the year as fundraisers for our programs and endowments. Below are a few of them.

The 2010 Night Shine Gala, held in April, was truly a night of stars: all there to raise money for the Child Life Zone at Denver Health, and to celebrate our 150 years of serving the local community.  Denver Health has partnered with Garth Brooks and his foundation Teammates For Kids to provide the Rocky Mountain region's only Child Life Zone: a state of the art therapeutic and educational environment for children coping with illness and hospitalization.

The gala was attended by a host of stars including: Garth Brooks; Trisha Yearwood; Troy Aikman; and local sporting celebrities - past and present - from the Broncos, Nuggets, Rockies, and Avalanche.

The Party of the Summer!

The Hot Rocks Griller Challenge, recently held at Elway's Cherry Creek on the 16th of June, was a sold-out success!
Over 700 people joined us in raising funds and awareness for Men's Health programs at Denver Health.  The attendees were treated to savory juicy sliders prepared by Denver's top chefs, rocking music by Chris Daniels and the Kings,  and plenty of opportunities to participate in games and the silent auction.

The winning chef was Tyler Guard, of Tag, with Tyler Wiard of Elway's and Sean Yontz of Tambien and Sketch as the runners-up.
