Robin Engleberg is the manager of “Open Your Hearts to Newborns in Need”, a Foundation program that provides support to thousands of low-income babies born each year at Denver Health Medical Center. She also runs the Denver Health internal Employee Giving Campaign to support important projects and initiatives within the organization and has raised over $100,000 in pledgesin 2010. 

 

She is a Denver native, and attended the University of Colorado where she received a bachelors of arts degree.


As a young mother she developed polyfoam toy building blocks for children.  She successfully brought the product to market, and distributed it nationally.  Eventually, she became the president of the family business. 

From 1994 -2004, Robin worked as the Director of Youth and Family Services at the Robert E. Loup Jewish Community Center (JCC) where she managed a wide range of programs in Denver and Boulder including Early Childhood Education, summer camps, youth activities, senior adult services, "Shalom Baby" (outreach to expectant Jewish parents and their new babies) and after school programs for immigrant Russian children.  

She has been a lifelong volunteer in the Jewish community, including a 12 year stint as a board member and officer of the JCC.  

Robin joined the Denver Health Foundation in 2006.
