Karen joins the Denver Health Foundation as an assistant in Database Management and Donor Communications. She is interested in using data to promote and communicate an awareness and understanding of the Foundation's programs and endowments to the wider community. Karen is also the Webmaster for the Foundation's website. Prior to joining the Foundation, Karen worked in natural history museums managing the care and logistics of natural history specimens, and collection databases.

Karen has a Master of Science Degree in Museum Studies and Bachelor’s Degree in History and Geology from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and a Business Administration degree from the U.K.

Committed to the non-profit sector and outreach, Karen is excited to be working with the Foundation and sharing her experiences and ideas on how data can be utilized to achieve positive results for the Foundation.
