Amy Friedman has joined the Denver Health Foundation as the Director of Volunteers. She is responsible for recruiting new volunteers to many Denver Health departments as well as managing the Patient Information desks throughout the hospital.
For the past 15 years, Amy has worked as a manager and a consultant in the private sector as well as for public sector entities in Denver and in Washington, D.C. Amy also served on the staff of Colorado Governor, Roy Romer.
Amy holds a Masters degree from the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Colorado College.
“I am looking forward to carrying out President Obama’s call to service by introducing more volunteers to Denver Health;” said Friedman. “The health sector is already feeling the effects of our present economy and volunteers can be a part of helping out.”
