Jerry Cowan joined Denver Health Foundation’s Board of Directors in February 2005 because he has “come to know it as a wonderful organization doing great work in the community… a worthy charity with magnificent people behind it.”
Jerry, who has been involved in the design and construction business for more than 25 years, is vice president of Jacobs Facilities, a firm that manages the design and construction of healthcare and medical research facilities. He brings a wealth of knowledge to his role as a board member and looks forward to putting it to good use for upcoming and ongoing capital construction campaigns at Denver Health.
“Denver Health is pushing the envelope in new innovation, service and efficiency,” he said. “I look forward to playing a pivotal role as the Foundation begins one day raising funds for the medical center’s new research facility.”
Jerry also expects to be engaged in expanding the Board’s membership and introducing new individual patrons – from both the business and philanthropic communities – to the institution.
