Daryl Edmonds

Community Leader

 

Daryl Edmonds moved to Colorado in 1997 and joined CIGNA HealthCare as president and general manager of Colorado. During his time with CIGNA,  Edmonds was named president and general manager for CIGNA HealthCare of Utah, New Mexico, Idaho, Wyoming and Montana.

Recently retired from CIGNA HealthCare, Edmonds is now enjoying time with his family.

 

Edmonds is a graduate of Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business. He is active in the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce (DMCC) and was most recently a participant in the DMCC’s Leadership Exchange trip to Vancouver, Canada. Edmonds is active in the community as a board member for the Public Education and Business Coalition (PEBC), and member of the executive board of the March of Dimes. His expertise and understanding of health care in Colorado led to an appointment by Governor Owens to serve on the board of CoverColorado. He has since been reappointed by Governor Bill Ritter. Additionally, Edmonds is involved in a health system reform committee with the Salt LakeChamber of Commerce. Edmonds is active in the industry as president of the Colorado Association of Health Plans.
